The Social Media Menance

There has been a lot of commentaries about the menace of social media in the country.

As a youth who interacts with technology you have a responsibility to act.

 

You have been requested to INFORM and ADVICE the youth who are misusing the social media.

 

Read the story and design a Newsletter using Banded template.

 

The number of color should not be less than 3.

The newsletter should only have four pages( printed on A3 foldable).

The newsletter should have at least 3 graphic.

You should include one more print media (newspaper, magazine) resource for the information.

The information should be 20% from the Story, 20% from the resource you found and 60% from your own opinion.

 

The Newsletter should be design during Friday lesson and through the Ester Break.

TASK 1

 

Akili Mingi Academy wants to start MYP.

 

The proprietor has requested you to design a 3 panel brochure using the tabs template.

 

He has provided you with information he would like on the brochure.

 

As an MYP student he would like you to use the information and your experience and make the brochure appeal to both the parents and the students.

 

You are to use Microsoft Publisher Software only and you are allowed not more than 3 colors and 3 graphics.

You should not use more than 30% of the information provided. The success of the product will be based on your own information and the level of convincing potential parent and students.

 

You have three lesson to complete the task
