In this stage you will be expected to come up with some designs that measure up with design specification. You will compare each design against the design specification and then select one design and explain why that is the best choice.

 

Task 1

If your problem in investigate was to create a business card for a client, after research you came up will the following design specifications;

Design Specs identified in Investigate stage: The business card will have the following

¨      Name of Individual
¨      Name of the Business
¨      Company Logo
¨      One graphic and business colors

In the design stage you will draw 4 possible design of a business card showing with design specs have been met in each design

5-6	Ø  I have described why pamphlets are important and have created a design brief. Ø   I have described what makes good pamphlets. Ø  I have included a full list of specifications (at least 10) that must be met by my pamphlet giving the reasons for each.

Example

Problem: Working around Mombasa as a businessman requires that you have a business card

Design Brief: I will create a business card for my dad
Research: What do you need to know about business cards? Use Internet, books, and interviews
Design Specs: The business card will have the following features: A5 is size, have a logo, include images and have different fonts used.
Test strategy: How will I test that the product is good? I will ask my friends to give their opinion or post it online for feedback
