Microsoft Access Exercises
These exercises start from basics and are suitable for people with no previous database experience, though they are recommended for people who are competent with other Windows applications such as Word and Excel. Experienced users may be able to skim over the first few exercises but it is recommended that they be completed in order. I've found from teaching experience that people who skips steps invariably have to come back later to pick up what they missed. All of the following documents are in PDF format. The numbers in brackets indicate file size. Larger files may take a long time to open in slower internet connections.

These exercises were created for users of Microsoft Access version 2002 (XP). They should be suitable for users of other versions though some minor differences may exist. Note that databases created in some versions of Access may not work in other versions of Access.
