Create Stage Summative

 

You will now create your chosen design based on the budget problem you stated in the design brief. You will also ensure that your plan is followed.

 

Your product should be as realistic as possible. The prices of the different items in your budget can be obtained from the internet.

 

Ensure that different excel techniques are evident in your product for example; appropriate use of different formulas and functions, different formatting techniques applied, appropriate graphs generated, appropriate images used, proper use of borders and shading e.t.c. The more appropriate techniques and skills are applied the better.

 

You are also expected to document your progress in the Process Journal. The process journal should have screenshots showing what you have achieved each time you work on the product.

 

Create Checklist

o     I have created a product to the best of my ability, one that is almost similar to the chosen design and with different appropriate excel techniques applied.

 

o     PROCESS JOURNAL entries – I have included several screenshots and briefly stated my progress and challenges encountered each time I worked on the product.

 

Assessment Criteria

0	The student does not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below.
1-2	The student follows the plan and creates at least part of a budget.
3-4	The student uses appropriately some techniques of the software. The student follows the plan and states any changes made, thus resulting in a budget of good quality.
5-6	The student properly uses appropriately most techniques of the software. The student follows the plan and gives reasons for any changes made, thus resulting in a budget of very good quality.
