Collaborative Journaling

Today we shall be doing collaborative journaling.

Group leaders should create a document in Google Docs
Click Create
Select Document


Click Share

Enter the Name of the Digital Learning Unit -e.g. The Wonderful Planets
Click Done

Enter the gmail addreses of your team, separated by a comma

Click done.

All member will recieve invitation to the document.
They should open the document on edit mode and begin working.
You can chat on the side to ask for clarification or discuss an issue in the document.

The document will then be shared with the group members.

All member will open the document and start working on the documents.

The following is the information to be in the document

Our Digital Learning unit
Short description of the unit -Topic, subject and lenght.

Facts
What the facts will contain in the DLU

Interaction
How will the user interact with the Facts

Assessment
How will the user of the DLU assess if they have understood the facts

Digital Learning Unit

Group Work,

In your groups -Work on the task allocated for the group work.

Remember your group roles and responsibility.
Roles (Leader, Manager, Reporter, Material, Social)
Responsibility (Resources, Facts, Quizes, Pictures, Games)

Update your e-portfolio on what you have done.

DO the work duirng the lesson and the allocated homework time ONLY.

Remmember -your tool should only be used for one lesson 50 minutes. Make it compact with all the aspects we checked.

Digital Learning Tool -Group Work

All teams are set and you have identified the roles of the team members.

You have identified the digital learning tool as a group.
Each member of the group has been given a task and they have looged in epearl to recored their work in the e-portfolio.

Monday - All team members to work on their contribution to the Digital Learning Tool.
Update your work in the e-portfolio during the lesson time.

Wednesday-The lesson will be Himanities as this week we used the humanities.

Thursady - The lesson will be English as this week we used the english lesson.

Use homework time to do the work out of class.

Enjoy as yourself as you develop your Group Digital Learning Tool. Gain the experience as you will need it during the individual task.

This term we are exploring on how we can explore technology and come up with a tool that will help students to learn better.

There some question we need to ask?

What challenges are students experiencing as they learn?

How can technology be used to solve or overcome the challenges?

Assess Attitudes in Technology

Criterion F: attitudes in technology
This criterion refers to students’ attitudes when working in technology. It focuses on an overall assessment of two aspects:
• Personal engagement (motivation, independence, general positive attitude)
• Attitudes towards safety, cooperation and respect for others.
By their very nature these qualities are difficult to quantify and assess, and assessment takes into account the context in which the unit of work was undertaken.
